I noticed all the times that I was pregnant, folks were more likely to offer me a seat or help me out another way.Rula Sinarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01703015110251843280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-829067513143066232010-12-07T11:22:19.316-05:002010-12-07T11:22:19.316-05:00I have been using a walker for the last year and c...I have been using a walker for the last year and can say with gratitude that people are usually very helpful with doors, etc. Every now and then someone in a hurry will practically knock me over in their rush but that isn't too often.Jonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05120122849763639291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-63168882302930258172010-12-01T20:35:28.032-05:002010-12-01T20:35:28.032-05:00A man who stands up...Oh, I'm sighing Jennifer...A man who stands up...Oh, I'm sighing Jennifer. I believe in strong, modern women and all, but I don't see why that should result in a loss of chivalry. We should be able to have both! ;)Rula Sinarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01703015110251843280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-15847708505045520302010-12-01T17:14:35.346-05:002010-12-01T17:14:35.346-05:00LOL! We have a male friend (who's single) who ALWAYS stands up if a lady gets up in the middle of her meal at the table. He stands when she returns too. I don't know why but it's very sigh worthy. Maybe you'll see more of it as the holidays approach :).Rula Sinarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01703015110251843280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-69763126857019190772010-11-30T22:50:40.022-05:002010-11-30T22:50:40.022-05:00How great to be able to experience something so po...How great to be able to experience something so positive! Kids learn by example, so with you and your DH teaching/changing tires ;), I'm sure your sons will be experts in the art of chivalry.Rula Sinarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01703015110251843280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-25874904934190026272010-11-30T18:35:24.752-05:002010-11-30T18:35:24.752-05:00That is so nice Rula! As the wife of the guy who stops to help people change tires on the side of the road no matter how much of a hurry we're in, I get to see it pretty regularly, and it's lovely. I *think* I'm teaching my sons to be like that, we'll see if I'm a success. It really doesn't take much to be kind and take a second to do them a solid.Christine Bellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13813598045501650461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-42181968647998598002010-11-30T09:10:30.923-05:002010-11-30T09:10:30.923-05:00Hey Nas! I'm laughing just imagining all the confused, goofy looks women would get from today's men if we presented them with our hands like in the olden days. Have you ever had anyone lift your hands to their lips? It happened to me once. It was a man from europe. I'd say I'm the one who was caught by surprise.Rula Sinarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01703015110251843280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-33865075249771591002010-11-30T08:42:52.902-05:002010-11-30T08:42:52.902-05:00okay this might be funny but I might inspire the c...okay this might be funny but I might inspire the chivalrous gene in pple. My hubs says when I shake hands its like I am actually presenting them with my hand and not shaking them so I should not be surprised that pple open doors for me or ask me 2 go first.Joanna St. Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06180782095853911283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2349124532504569358.post-67269535214991833512010-11-30T02:12:09.908-05:002010-11-30T02:12:09.908-05:00How wonderful!
